i entered the interview room a bit nervous.mr.chairman asked me to sit in the Chair rite b4 him.i sat,then mr.chairman read aloud my subjects in different classes,i confirmed by shaking my head in affirmation.chairman:tell us abt ur ailment,means polio,how does it attack a person?i replied:i dnt know sir,i knew things when i was in f.sc,but now i have no idea of them.chairman:still u must knw abt such things,its quite common.i said:i accept sir,i must know abt them ,but i dnt know abt them,bcz i never gave importance to my disability.chairmank tell me,is it bacterial or viral?i said:bacterial.chairman:bacterial? mr.chairman almost shouted,.i realized my mistake,but still i couldn't get certainty.i said:sir it can b bacterial or viral,i m not sure. then he bent his head down n wrote something on a piece of a paper.asked me in the same position,''u want to b asked questions on what?'' i replied,''english'' he said ''what genre?'' i said ''poetry.''then he referred me to a subject specialist..............ss1:define ballad...... i defined condfidently.ss1:examples? ..............i told.ss1:which poet u like?.....i said,Keats.ss1:why?......................i told..whatever i told was perhaps something new for her,as she discussed that with her follow in a funny way to make me nervous.i kept my smile alive...ss1:can u compare keats' realism with realism of 18th centurey?..i said,no..ss1:what circumstances were in Europe at that time that affected Romanticism?............i said,Pre-Raphelitism,.but that was wrong.still i was confident.ss1:what is subject n predicate?.............i told,she looked impressed.ss1:what is a Gerund?..............i told but gave a wrong example.ss1:what is a Modifier?.............i never knew.......ss1:compare Shakespeare's supernaturalism with that of Marlowe......i gave an indirect answer.ss1:what is poetic diction?..............................my answer was again indirect but correct.ss1:what is a Blank Verse?...i told with an exact example.........again she was impressed.ss2:who was Shelley?...........................i told him whatever i knew.........confidently.ss2:have u read his ''ode to the west wind?''.... i told that it is not possible to read each n everything in a calculated semester system.he ridiculed me n said something abt the semester system.i immediately told him that i really like the semester system. ss2:who wrote ''Defence of poetry?''/..............i told but in a confused voice.ss3:what is an Elegy?.... i told with right examples.ss3:he asked me abt urdu elegies?.................i mentioned mir Anis' elegies.he mentioned some elegy of ALLAMA IQBAL that i never knew.ss3:ur favourit novelist?.........i said toni morrison and virginia woolf.....ss3:dnt u like ''george eliot?''...............i said i like her too.ss3:which of her novels u have read?............i said Adam Bede,confidently.ss3:wht is psychological realism?.............i told,again confidently.ss3:define renaissance...........i told.ss3:renaissance in faustus?......i explained.ss3:fautus' last speech?.............i told..,.............he looked very happy.mr chairman returned to make nervous again...Chairman:u must have knowledge abt cosmetics,what is the meaning of the ''capri,rexona n toyota corolla.''i thought he was asking me abt the literal meanings of these words...i said,''dnt know sir,no idea.'' He then asked me to leave after that.i asked him to b reassured,''can i go sir?'' he replied,''what do u think,u will keep sitting here for the whole day ?'' i smiled boldly n left the room saying,''ok sir Allah Hafiz.''that's all folks...............thank you for bearing me. hey guys after reading all this,tell me what are chances of my selection? was my interview satisfactory or not?

Well,,,,,Sir u have depicted 75% knowledge on subject matter...And as we know, for each 1 seat, every five candidates have to compete...If ur competitors do not exceed in knowledge than you..then chance is yours..GOOD LUCK

sa logon ka buhat shkria.main ne English me apply kia hua ha,in disable quota.i just faltered in my interview at questions,jin k barey me mujhy kuch pata nahin tha.its been my record so far in all the interviews that i have attempted,that i answer the most difficult questions but i fail in answering simple ones.bcz i take too much pressure of interviews.i remained polite n considering in this interview though i was not wearing clean shoes n formal two piece i hope the respected panel considers my positive points n ignore everything else.i couldn't answer two simplest questions of general knowledge asked by mr.CHAIRMAN.I hope he doesn't mind that. ]Baki jo ALLAH PAK ki marzi.i m mature enough now to face the music of my mistakes.
